Plant a tree in the garden or orchard is not an impossible
mission. And though it requires some secrets, you can carry out yourself.
The trees are beneficial to the health of all living things
and even to protect the planet, two extra reasons and very important to
encourage you to plant your own tree.
So let's give you some tips on getting it successfully.
• The most important thing is that you must choose a species
native to the area where you are going to plant. Whether a fruit tree or any
other kind, you have to advise you on what are the most recommended to plant
depending on where you reside.
• The ideal time to plant will depend on the species but
overall is best done between March and May, with the less desirable months of
September and November.
• You must dig a hole about 20 cm and then once done
planting, fill it with dirt removed.
• You can plant the tree in two different ways: by seeds or
cuttings. In the first case, you must place the seeds in the pit under a layer
of soil that is 2 to 4 times the size of the seed. You must use 3 or 4 seeds to
multiply the chances of birth of the tree. Above, you can make a padded with
straw and dry leaves to prevent freezing together seeds in winter.
If you're going to plant by cuttings, must choose a plant
with many branches a young branch (you will notice because they are flexible
and slightly different color) and cut without producing tears 15-20 centimeters
long if they are shrubs and 25 or if 30 centimeters are trees.
You must then peel the lower tip of the peg. You remove the
leaves from the lower half and cut the remaining leaves in half to prevent loss
of water. Then enter the peg in the hole.
