It is not unreasonable to think that, in no distant future, could stay without even a foot of living space. At least on Earth, because maybe we could come to escape, immigrate to other worlds leaving behind a barren place, contaminated, mortally wounded after being dismissed as a vulgar object throwaway.
Moreover, as stated by the scientist Stephen Hawking, the best you
could do is leave as soon as possible in order to prevent human exploitation
end up destroying everything. Unfortunately, most probably wipe us is the best
way to protect the planet. But then there are other ways to protect the
environment effectively? Yes, of course, in theory there, but mankind does not
put them into practice with the effectiveness necessary to avoid compromising
the future of humanity.
The famous astrophysicist believes that avoid disaster in the next
two centuries, that is, caring for the environment by applying sustainable
alternatives during this period, will allow us to colonize space to find new
homes in the universe, places that also will exterminating a result of our
selfishness and aggression. Therefore, we should react quickly to avoid a
planetary catastrophe that makes habitats are incompatible with life.
What we can do to save our planet?
Reducing emissions
Organizations concerned with the environment, such as NGOs or the
United Nations, never tire of warning that the clock is ticking against us.
They are glaring UN speeches on the historic opportunity that we are letting
long to stop climate change before it's too late.
As is known, any global summit convened (called COP) has made a binding
global agreement that guarantees a future with controlled emissions, to advance
in the fight against global warming. Although, as said the UN has left, the
Interior responsible environmental policy is essential in order to reach global
agreements.
Science is also scathing in its conclusions on the environmental
future when you cannot but be shocked at the frenetic pace at which we are
destroying our environment. Unequivocally, an international team of renowned
scientists published in Nature an alarming announcement of the end of the world
we know. That is, a planetary collapse predicted no possibility of reversing
the loss of half of natural resources by 2025 and 55 percent in 2045 if
overpopulation and other exploitative practices continue.
There is only one solution: stop the terrible, pernicious impact
we inflict on nature.
