What Are the Effect of Air Pollution on the Environment?

Air pollution is caused by the presence in the air of toxic substances produced by human activity in recent times.
These gases and chemicals in the atmosphere generated amount of phenomena and consequences to ecosystems and living beings that inhabit the planet.
Among the many harmful effects include:
Deterioration in human health, cardiovascular problems, conjunctivitis, bronchial diseases, lung cancer, skin cancer, vision problems, blood diseases, problems in mental development of the unborn, among others.
Great repercussions in the evolutionary process of plants, preventing photosynthesis in many cases, with serious consequences for the purification of air they breathe other living beings on the planet.
Decreased production of edible plants due to the same process mentioned in the previous point, with the known effects on feed consumed species, including man.
The buildup of these gases in the atmosphere causes the known environmental problems and their consequences in each individual case, such as smog, acid rain, reducing the ozone layer, global warming, the greenhouse effect, etc.
